The rocking stagecoach spun around the base of Macer mountain on the last stretch of trail to the town of Valiben. There were but three passengers, Mary Carslake and her twelve-year-old son had been on the trail before but it was the first trip for the Lone Ranger’s nephew Dan Reid.
