Stuck right out in the middle of the mountains, Bill and Henry wonder how the men ever managed to build the railroad and bridge. As Bill understands it, they built the tracks as far as they could over and through the mountains, and when they couldn't find a way across the river, they put up a bridge - with the materials being brought to the area on the tracks that had already been laid.
