The city was small and clean and comfortable. Seen from a train window it looked like many another American city but something new had been added to this one that could not be seen from a train window. It was Christopher Chance, young special prosecutor who’s been appointed by the governor to investigate corruption in the office of Anthony Pierce the district attorney.
