This is the story of Edward Somerset as recounted in his private journal dated London 1874, a truly harrowing account of what took place at Mooreland Manor. Lord Burley has died and on account of his fear of being buried alive he requested that he be left to lie in an open crypt for a week with food and water near by. On the day that they go to seal the crypt they discover that his body has been replaced with another shorter body but his head is the same.
