Curtis Randall and a friend of his named Byron Peters went deer hunting and hired some old character to act as guide. Randall and Peter’s didn’t know it but the old goat was an alcoholic. At the end of the day they had a big argument with the guide because he hadn’t found them a deer. The guide ran amuck and killed Randall and killed himself. Johnny Dollar is called in to investigate because Randall had a $500,000 insurance policy on him and the beneficiary is his hunting companion Peters.
