Joe Palette’s tavern in the factory district on a Friday night is almost deserted but it won’t be later. He has $20,000 in his safe ready for the factory payday tonight. Everyone who quits work at midnight goes in to the bar to cash his paycheck and buy a drink or two. That’s good business for Joe but can also be dangerous having so much money on site especially with threats from his ex barman Snider who wears a yellow handkerchief.
