In the old days of the west, with law enforcement agencies many miles apart, it was one thing to file claim on land, and sometimes quite another thing to hold the land. For there were men like the smiling, cold-eyed Count Steel around - men who took what they wanted by authority of the six gun. As our story opens, Steel and his henchman Joe Fox arrive on the riverfront trail along the lush Saratoga Valley.
