Gunning For The Sheriff

The sheriff of the county Greg Morgan was known as a stern man hunter, a terror to outlaws in his district. We see two of his prisoners, Dan Cooley and Wolf Brant sharing a cell together. The light of a flickering lamp reveals the cunning and cruelty of Wolf’s features. They are planning their escape and Cooley tells Wolf that there is only one thing he wants to get for and that is to shoot it out with Sheriff Morgan. Cooley says that he didn’t kill old man Bailey and that Morgan knows it.
