Fred Uttal opens the show, introducing the host himself, Al Jolson, who sings a great, upbeat little number called Yoo Hoo. He and Fred then talk a little about cars, and the current rubber shortage, before Carol Bruce arrives on the show. She sings the big song of the day, Brazil. After the short interval, Al welcomes Bob Benchley to the show, before he later sings a song requested by Bob, and one of my own favorites, Sonny Boy.
