Royal Desserts and Rudy Vallee invite you to listen to a wonderful hour of music and variety. Rudy opens the show, introducing this week's special guests which includes Jean Arthur, the star of The Plainsman, and Mr Deeds Goes to Town, in a one-act play by Colin Clement. Two funny fellows from Broadway, Frank Gabby and Edgar Bergen, and from Ireland, Sara Allgood, the leading actress from Ireland's Abbey Theatre. Rudy raises the musical curtain, singing September in the Rain.
