Looks like they dug the script up of Variety aired on 20th October 1940! This time Jack finds out that film director Michael Curtiz is going to direct Barbara Stanwyck and Basil Rathbone in a dramatic sketch and right away he wanted to muscle in on it so he calls up Jean Hersholt who is president of the Screen Actors Guild and tries to sell himself!
