Occasionally a case breaks for which it is necessary for an officer to work without the knowledge of the members of his own department he even has to leave the matter of making an arrest to other persons in order that he may be left free to work out the more intricate details of the case. This story is that kind of case, a story of how operators of the narcotics squad working completely in the dark uncovered the source of supply of dope that had been eluding police for months.
