The Blanchard brothers had just arrived by train in Louisiana and were unable to find anyone to taxi them the three miles to the plantation a house that they had inherited. They were told that it hadn’t been lived in for hundreds of years and that the folks in Louisiana call it the Graveyard Mansion because it’s the house of the living dead.
