The preparations for Grandpappy Spears coming out party are getting more complicated all the time. First, Lum moved into the school house so he would have a home large enough for the party, and now it looks as though Abner is going to adopt Grandpaps so that this unusual and not-so-little antiquated debutante will have some parents. As we look in on the little community today, we find the old fellows working on the guest list.
