Barry Craig sees a beautiful redhead at the door of an apartment building with a guy who looks like he may be angling for an invite in for a nightcap. He must have been playing for more than a kiss and ends up with a slap in the face, which sent him stumbling backwards. He slips on the ice and falls to the ground. Barry Craig hears the door close shut behind the woman and thinks she either didn’t realise he had fallen or doesn’t care. When he approaches the man he discovers he is dead. Thinking the redhead might like to know about it he calls the building superintendent only to be told by him that no redhead matching her description lives in the building.
