Gildy’s ten-year-old car is falling apart but money won’t allow a new one. Gildy’s car finally breaks down right next to Smiling Sam the auto man’s lot. Smiling Sam talks Gildy in to test-driving a new Mercedes car, which is $4000. Gildy playing king for a day ends up pretending to all his friends that he has bought the new car but finally learns that it never pays to pretend to be something you’re not.
