When Gildy receives an alligator suitcase with silver fittings from Vicky he is desperately trying to find her a present. Vicky suggests to make up for it she take him to the New Years Eve dance but he is already taking Nurse Milford. Then Gildy gets the idea to invite his rich neighbor Rumsom Bullard on a double date. However at the dance to Gildy’s dismay Bullard seems more interested in flirting with Nurse Milford.
