The description of the artist as an individual with a more-than-usual sensitivity has been drawn for us often. It should therefore come as no shock, for a painter to realise that his artistic vision has penetrated into a world only dimly perceived by the rest of us. Nevertheless, when this happened to painter, James Taxton, it was to prove a serious obstacle to what promised to be a flourishing career.
