Bill Goodwin is trying to win a part in movie playing opposite Ingrid Bergman but the producer Lawrence Sherwood is after a family man. Gracie agrees to pretend that she's married to Bill and when Lawrence Sherwood is invited round for dinner George pretends to be the butler.
