Although Henry protested that Homer was waiting for him to go skating on the lake Mrs Aldrich insisted that Henry take a fruitcake over to Mrs Proctor’s before he did anything today. However Homer and Henry passed by the lake and decided to have one running slide and then they’d take the cake but the ice wasn’t as thick as he thought and oh dear Henry went right through it!
