It's classroom time for all of the men and women in the armed forces, and it's being held at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Before the contestants are introduced there is comedy interaction with Kay and comedian Ish Kabibble (Merwyn Bogue). Then the shows gets in the swing with a song called Straighten Up And Fly Right followed by It Could Happen To You.

First contestant is Sergeant Phil Arnold from Brooklyn New York. Last contestant is Private Barbara Custer from California.
