Mr Newman is leaving no stone unturned in an effort to save his ranch from Blackie Pemberton who now holds a mortgage on the place. You may recall that Mr Newman had promised to deliver several hundred head of horses to a buyer, and from the sale, he would receive enough to pay his note to Blackie. But while Mr Newman was away from the ranch, Blackie's men raided the place and stole the horses!
