Four Invitations To Death

It is six years since the Charles Morrel’s wife died at sea and he blames the four people who were in the lifeboat with her for letting her slip overboard to her death. Now Morrel in his grief has killed two of the people and he intends to kill Pedro and then Slate Shannon. However 50-year-old John Johnson junior who was sleeping off indigestion in Shannon’s bed was mistaken for Shannon and murdered by accident. Slate Shannon fears that the invitation to death he received could soon be real.
