Anne planned to kill her husband with the help of her lover Tommy and after committing the deadly act she ordered Tommy to hit her to make it look as though she had not framed it. Then leaving the crime Tommy felt sickened by the whole episode and questioned himself as to what kind of love could do such a thing.
