Sylvia Manly works in a small bank in one of the picturesque little towns on the rugged coast of Northern California. All of her spare time is spent painting seascapes and landscapes simply for the joy of being outside and the satisfaction of expressing herself. She knows little about painting, which bothers her not at all. This Saturday morning, she has found a likely spot on some giant rocks where the surf breaks over them. She's deeply engrossed in her work, and doesn't notice a handsome, bronzed young man coming along the shoreline, paintbox in hand, easel under his arm. Just as he reaches the spot where she is working, he suddenly stops as he sees he is not alone...
