It is Tuesday night, about seven o’clock and Pat was about to pack up when a little guy, Jackie Gregg the jockey turned up. He was due to ride a horse named Fleet Lady in the 6th race at the Bonanza Handicap the next day but the horse had disappeared. He offered Novak $200 to find the horse.
