Philip Marlowe has an appointment with the prison warden about William Senairo who used to be a nice kid known as Billy Senairo who used to see papers on the corner of Marlowe’s street before he got in with a bad crowd. Billy was now on execution row for his part in a jewel robbery and murder and now he was asking to see Marlowe.
