Cheyenne Indians had captured Mrs Phillips while going to join her husband in Denver 10 years ago. Now she and a Cheyenne girl, Fawn had escaped and were at a reservation. Matt Dillon was asked to take them both for safety to Dodge until her husband arrived to collect them.
