The Magic Key today brings you an hour of entertainment opening with Frank Black conducting the ballet music from Faust (Gounod), and featuring the noted singer and actor Paul Robeson in a broadcast from London, England. The famous swing harp player, Casper Reardon, who performs Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. The popular young singing star Jane Froman joins the show and sings Did I Remember and La Bomba. An interesting part of the show is dedicated to the bad luck which befell Jane Froman's career - and this was 1936, before the 1943 plane crash which left her crippled, and her 1945 addiction to pain killers!
