Practically of all of the letters received at Lum and Abner’s lonesome heart matrimonial bureau so far have been from women and the old fellows have had no pictures of men to send out. Abner conceived the idea of buying pictures of prominent men in Pine Ridge from Grand Pappy Spears who has opened a small photography business, and sending the pictures out to the different women who have written in. These men are just beginning to receive answer to the letters and are at a loss to know where these women have obtained their names and addresses.
