Hurricane Cleo shows no sign of abating and residents are advised to evacuate the coastal area and move to higher ground. Dr John Williams has been asked to set up a temporary hospital in the school auditorium. He gathers his neighbours in the station wagon but he and his wife are surprised when Martin Clamper appears.
