Doc and Chester are riding back to Dodge when they hear a gun shot on the plains and come across an injured man named Nage Gilet. Jesse Turnbull who was a partner of Nage and his brother Pit Gilet tell the Doc and Chester to leave him alone. Nage dies and the Doc ends up with a bullet in him, which Chester has to remove and then keep him alive.
