Holden was an ex convict who had served 5 years for armed robbery. It was his first conviction and he admitted he had it coming to him and vowed he wouldn’t end up in prison again. However a month later a payroll van was held up and $30,000 stolen and the paymaster identified the perpetrator as Ben Holden. Shortly after Ben Holden was killed, a victim of a hit and run car accident.
