Lum still can't reconcile himself to the fact that he's been replaced by Caleb Whehunt from the office of school board president, and ever since the election, Lum is certain that every move Caleb makes is a downward step in the Pine Ridge education system. As we look in on the little community today, we find the ex-president in the store and library, talking on the telephone.
