Greg Taylor wasn't the kind of detective you see in the movies with a glamorous secretary. Greg taylor was  a member of the city's police force. His fiancee Amy was the daughter of the chief of police and he wasn't too happy that Greg was always in the newspapers getting publicity for his crime solving. Greg thinks that he doesn't like him but  he just thinks that a man who is out for personal glory is not good for the department. 

After one publicity stunt too many Greg finds himself back in blues on the beat in the 77th precinct and Amy splitting up from him. Can he end up much lower? Well maybe when he is almost seduced in to a life of crime .
