Chuck Morgan is a newscaster at station KOP in Los Angeles who was sitting in his office thinking over a terrible crime that was occurring in the city. There is nothing that strikes fear to the heart of a city than knowing there is a maniacal killer at large especially one who kills just for the sake of killing with no apparent motive or reason. This one in Los Angeles was dubbed The Sniper as the killer used a rifle to pick off his victims from dark alleys. Five murders were accredited to him without the police getting an inkling of his identity and it was at this point that he began warning his victims. He’d make a phone call and say, “your next” and hang up.
