Ted has prepared an evening cocktail for his wife and wants her to sit down and tell him what the Dr had to say to her. She confesses to her husband that she had lied to him about the phone call the other night and tells him her concerns about Chuckie and the way that he is treating him. She is concerned that her husband’s reluctance to recognize their son’s fears is making him different to other children.
