There is an epidemic of Diphtheria in Alderly in the Yukon. Sergeant Preston is helping a sick man named Bill get to a doctors. Sergeant preston and the doctor worked hard through the night helping the sick people in the village and Preston planned on going to Dawson in the morning to get the anti-toxin. However Prseton went down with the illness himself. His only chance is for King to bring the anti-toxin back from the doctors in Dawson City.
