The Covent Garden Opera House in London. It is the 3rd act of Martha. Liza Della Robia, the beautiful and world famous soprano leads the chorus to a thrilling climax. In a box, just off the stage, is young Gerald Fitzgerald. He leans forward, his hands clenched, his eyes intent on the beautiful singer. His companion, a well dressed young woman, argues with him over his attentions towards the opera singer.
