It is nearly 10 o’clock of a Monday morning as the head cashier of the Silverton National Bank stands before the president in his office receiving his last minute instructions and the need for secrecy about the threatened run on the Stockman’s Bank. Someone is trying to get a rumor started to bring the bank down.
