Harold and Theodora have been going together sometime now and his mother wonders if they will soon be getting engaged and making her a grandma. However Theodora makes him jealous talking about an old flame so he thinks two can play at that game and dedicates a record on the radio to his old flame Flora Belle saying it is for a special lady. Oh dear both Theodora and Flora Belle think the song is for them and he finds himself engaged to both of them!
