Ben hasn’t got time for visitors but his wife is happy when Marshal Matt Dillon and Chester show up at their prairie ranch to stop for some water. Ben and Emma Hyde haven’t had any visitors in a long time so Emma makes Matt and Chester extra welcome. However Matt and Chester are on their way to pick up a prisoner so can’t stay too long. Emma hates living on the prairie with no people around and wishes she could go back to Philadelphia.
