Mr Field has stumbled upon evidence that a horrible murder has been committed. Somewhere, sometime a woman has been brutally murdered yet he does not know when or where and he doubts that anyone in the world knows except those who did it and him. And how does he know? Because the victim has told him so in her own words. About a month ago he bought a box from an unclaimed property sale and when he took it home and opened it he found it contained a bloodstained dress, a photograph of a beautiful woman and eight phonograph records telling of the brutal killing of an innocent victim…
