Eddie Cantor is the Master of Ceremonies, and opens the show, introducing tonight's guests which includes Bea Wain singing Chatanooga Choo Choo, and Dinah Shore singing Blues In The Night. Danny Kaye, Don Dunphy, Bill Corum and the Western Union boys also star. The show also includes a recording of the heavyweight boxing big title fight between Joe Louis v Buddy Baer from 9th January 1941 - the night before Joe Louis joined the army.
