When a young traveler meets Dutch George who claims to a fellow traveler, on the plains he learns a lesson not to trust a stranger the hard way when Dutch George knocks him out and steals his horse. Later Dutch George arrives in Dodge. Every body in the state knows that Dutch George is a horse thief but it was hard to prove.
