Assistant dentists Peabody and Edwards have now abandoned the idea of wearing painter's coats as a cheap alternative to doctor's jackets, after Ulysses S Quincy tried to hire them to paint his barn. However, there's still the dental business, and as we look in on the little community today, we find them going over Dr Snide's office records. And Abner has come to the conclusion that Dr Snide doesn't actually know a lot about being a dentist!
