Jean Hersholt’s play for tonight concerns the efforts of the good citizens of Rivers End to nominate Dr Christian for mayor. It all started late one afternoon a couple of weeks ago when John Hewitt candidate for the office burst in to find Judy, the doctor’s secretary and told her of his inspiration. He was no longer going to run for mayor as he’d found a better man for the job, Dr Christian.
