For many days the Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, had trailed a notorious gang of outlaws led by a vicious killer named Gibb Collins. It hadn't been difficult to follow Collins' trail, until the masked man and the Indian ran into what they had hoped to avoid - stormy weather. The heavy rain washed away any sign that the outlaws might of left, and as the two men rode the trails, they couldn't help but voice their disappointment.
