Mickey the Hood whose real name is Michael Jonathan O’Banyan had been a bootlegger, gun runner and jewel thief. After he served his term in order to fill out his parole he worked for a drug company before he opened a little importing company, which was probably just a little front for his bootlegging. He managed to secure half million insurance coverage on his business and a quarter million on his life. He’s a bad risk and likely to be bumped off at any time and is constantly behind on his premiums. In order to cancel his policy the insurance company need insurance investigator Johnny Dollar to find some legal proof that Mickey is still in the rackets.
