This Cavalcade play deals with a branch of the American Red Cross, which helps American forces overseas to find relaxation. Donut Girl is based upon factual material supplied by Annette Robins a Red Cross worker recently returned from the South Pacific. It is the personal record of Patricia Holland a Chicago girl who found herself at a jungle airbase somewhere in New Guinea.
